Itinerary

Meet your tour leader

Meet your tour leader at Roma Termini railway station for a hassle-free check-in. Board the high-speed train for a journey of a little over 3 hours to Venezia Santa Lucia Railway Station.

Once in Venice, take a short walk from Venezia Santa Lucia railway station to the nearby vaporetto stop. Enjoy a scenic waterbus ride (one-way ticket included!), absorbing the beauty of Venice’s waterways.

The place to be, St. Mark’s Square

The place to be, St. Mark’s Square, lies at the heart of Venice. Discover the splendor of St. Mark’s Basilica’s façade, delve into the network of alleys, and explore the city’s iconic bridges.

A symbol of romance and history, the Bridge of Sighs connects the Doge’s Palace to the prisons. It’s said that prisoners would sigh at their last glimpse of beautiful Venice through the window before facing their imprisonment, hence the evocative name. Its white limestone architecture and enclosed bridge, featuring windows with stone bars, have made it a must-visit landmark and a favorite backdrop for couples.

Venice's labyrinthine canals

Venice’s labyrinthine canals are the arteries of the city, bustling with gondolas and vaporettos. These waterways have served as the primary means of transport for centuries, reflecting the city’s unique architectural wonders. Spanning these canals are over 400 bridges, each with its own history and design, allowing pedestrians to wander the city’s winding pathways, immerse themselves in its charm, and savor its timeless beauty.

Before heading back to the train station, rendezvous with your tour leader to savor a traditional Venetian aperitivo or ‚cicchetto.‘ Refresh and reminisce about your Venetian adventure.

Your rendezvous spot in Venice for the return journey. This station marks the transition from the serene canals of Venice to the vibrant bustle of mainland Italy.

Your final stop

Your final stop, marking the culmination of your Venetian adventure. From here, the eternal city of Rome spreads out, ready for your next exploration.
